# Why Do Facebook Reels Get Views but Almost No Follows?

A few of my Facebook Reels have picked up views from people who don’t follow the page, but those views rarely turn into [new followers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/44128/8-new-ways-to-increase-instagram-followers). The clips seem to hold attention reasonably well, so I’m not sure whether the issue is the content itself or what viewers see after watching.

For anyone who has improved this, did you change the opening, add a clearer reason to follow, or make the page’s other posts more consistent? I’m curious which signals are actually useful to compare beyond view counts.
