# How Can I Tell Whether a Facebook Page Has a Restriction or Just Lost Reach?

My Facebook Page’s posts have suddenly started reaching far fewer people, but I haven’t received a clear warning. I’m unsure whether this is a temporary change in distribution, an issue with a particular post, or an account-level restriction.

Which signals do you check first? I’ve looked at Page insights, but I’m not sure how much weight to give them compared with the **Page Quality status** or notifications in the account. If you’ve diagnosed this on a Page you manage, what helped you tell a policy issue from an ordinary reach drop?
