# Why Does Search Console Show My Page as Indexed but Give It No Impressions?

Search Console reports that one of my pages is indexed, but it has received no impressions for weeks. The page is live, loads normally, and targets a fairly specific search query.

Does “indexed” only mean Google can store the page, or should I expect it to appear in search results soon after? I’m trying to work out whether this points to a relevance issue, a reporting delay, or something else in the page’s [search visibility](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/305624/using-schema-markup-for-better-search-visibility).

Has anyone found a useful way to investigate this without making changes based on a handful of impressions?

An indexed page isn’t guaranteed to get impressions. I’d first check the exact URL in Google Search Console, then review the last 3 months of query data, keyword demand, and competing pages. In one test, improving search intent alignment and adding relevant internal links helped a page gain visibility. Indexing is just the first step; relevance matters too.
