# Why Is My Facebook Link Preview Still Showing an Old Image?

I replaced the image and title on a page on my website, but when I share its link on Facebook, the preview still shows the old image. The updated version appears correctly when I open the page itself.

Is Facebook holding on to a cached preview, or could the page’s Open Graph metadata be pointing to the old asset? I’m looking for a reliable way to tell which version Facebook is reading before I share the link again.
