# Why do injection-molded plastic parts warp after they leave the mold?

We’re seeing a few injection-molded parts come out looking fine, then develop a slight twist or bow as they cool. It’s most noticeable on wider sections, but not every batch behaves the same way.

Which factors would you check first: uneven wall thickness, cooling layout, material choice, or the mold and process settings? I’m trying to narrow down the likely cause before treating every warped part as a tooling issue.
