# Why Did My Google Discover Traffic Drop While Search Traffic Stayed Steady?

Our site’s regular Google Search traffic has barely moved, but clicks from Discover have fallen sharply over the past few weeks. We haven’t made a major redesign, and the articles that used to get picked up still seem relevant.

Could this be a normal change in Discover distribution, or should I be looking at image choices, publishing frequency, or a technical issue? Search Console’s Discover report is useful for spotting the drop, but I’m not sure what clues are meaningful when **Discover traffic** changes independently of search.
