# Should an Ecommerce Site Keep Separate Pages for Products That Differ Only Slightly?

We sell a product in several sizes and finishes. The versions have separate SKUs and prices, but most of the description and photos are shared. I’m trying to decide whether each variation deserves its own indexable page or whether one main product page should handle them all.

How do you weigh distinct search demand and useful differences in the product details against the risk of creating thin, near-duplicate pages? I’m curious what signals you’d use to make the decision, especially when shoppers may search for a specific size or finish.
