# Why Does My Laptop Charge Through One USB-C Port but Not Another?

My laptop charges normally through one USB-C port, but the other port does nothing with the same charger and cable. Both ports still recognize at least some accessories, so I’m unsure whether this points to a charging limitation, a setting, or a hardware fault.
