# Why Are Search Impressions Rising While Clicks Fall on the Same Page?

One of my pages has been getting more impressions in Google Search Console over the past month, but clicks are moving in the opposite direction. The page itself has not changed much, and I haven’t seen a clear drop in its average position.

Could the page be appearing for a broader mix of searches, or is this more likely to be a change in how results are displayed? I’d like to understand which reports and query-level patterns are worth checking before I rewrite the page. Has anyone diagnosed a similar gap between **Search Console impressions and clicks**?
