# Why Did My X Post Reach Drop After I Started Scheduling Posts?

My posts on X have been getting noticeably fewer impressions since I started scheduling them with a third-party tool. The topics and posting frequency haven’t changed much, so I’m trying to work out whether the timing is a coincidence or something about how the posts are published.

For people who have run into this, what did you check first? I’m wondering whether to compare scheduled posts from third-party tools with posts published directly, or look at account status, links, and post format before drawing any conclusions.
