# Do you trust your website traffic numbers, or do you check whether that traffic is actually meaningful?

Traffic numbers can look impressive while engagement, conversions, and qualified leads tell a different story.

That's why the idea of a **Traffic Authenticity Index (TAI) Score** is interesting. SerpSpur's TAI concept brings up an important question for marketers: should we focus only on how much traffic a website receives, or also on how authentic and valuable that traffic appears to be?

Of course, any traffic authenticity score needs a transparent methodology and supporting evidence before it can be relied on.

**If an SEO tool offered a TAI score alongside keyword tracking and AI visibility insights, would you use it in client reports? Why or why not?**
