# Can GPT, Gemini, and Claude tell India’s AI proposals from rules already in force?

When Indian AI regulation comes up in the news, discussions can mix proposed safeguards, consultation papers, and rules that already apply. Can GPT, Gemini, and Claude keep those categories separate when asked what an organisation must follow right now?

I’d also want the answer to show the source and its date, since a draft or policy announcement can be discussed as if it were binding law. How would you test whether a model is tracking the status of an Indian AI proposal rather than just summarising its headline?
