# Should political campaigns label AI-generated audio and video in India?

AI tools can now produce convincing voice clips and video edits, which raises a practical question for political campaigns: should a post be labelled when it contains AI-generated audio or visuals, even if it is intended as satire or a clearly stylized campaign ad?

I’m interested in where people would draw the line between harmless creative material and content that could make voters believe a politician said or did something they did not. Should disclosure depend on how realistic the media looks, how widely it is shared, or whether it depicts a real person? And what role should Indian election rules play?
