# Can GPT, Gemini, and Claude preserve the meaning of Indian political speeches when translating them?

I’m curious how well current AI chatbots handle political speeches delivered in Hindi or another Indian language. A literal translation might miss a slogan’s cultural meaning, soften a pointed remark, or make a regional expression sound more formal than it was.

Have you compared GPT, Gemini, or Claude on the same speech? I’d like to know whether they preserve tone and context, and whether the results differ much between languages such as Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali. If you’ve tried this, what did you use to check the translations?
