[Sonam Wangchuk](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonam_Wangchuk) is a well-known name from Ladakh, famous for his work in **education and climate change**. He joined the [Delhi protest](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ihs4G6JkENQ) and went on a hunger strike for almost a month. He became like a symbol for the whole movement. Things got worse when police picked him up by force and sent him to hospital. This made people even more angry, and the protest got bigger instead of dying down.
