# Reddit app stuck on loading screen – how to fix?

There are some simple fixes you can try. First, check your [internet connection](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94706/my-google-chrome-lags-very-much-in-spite-of-a-good-internet-connection-how-do-i-troubleshoot-it) because sometimes slow Wi-Fi or data makes it stuck.

If internet is fine, then close the app fully and open it again. If it still does not work, go to [your phone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/32574/can-someone-who-has-your-phone-number-find-you-on-facebook-messenger) settings and [clear cache](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/109619/how-to-clear-cache-on-android-for-improved-performance) of Reddit app. This usually solves most problems. Restarting your phone is also a good step.
