Despite the focus of the party on [democracy](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/86612/what-is-the-role-of-judiciary-in-the-indian-democracy) and good [governance](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39202/what-is-the-theme-of-the-21st-national-conference-on-e-governance-2018), some allegations and [controversies](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/82855/mahatma-gandhi-and-the-controversies) have arisen over the period. An example is the Rafale deal, where the opposition has accused the [government](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83223/imran-khan-is-no-longer-pm-formation-of-new-government-of-pakistan) of supporting some industrialists. Even though the [Supreme Court](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81496/supreme-court-just-cannot-look-into-every-encounter-case) cleared any wrongdoing, the public still argues about it. Another case most often mentioned is the PM CARES Fund. Of particular concern are such issues as the absence of public records and the dearth of audits by [independent](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/98599/what-is-the-longest-river-in-the-commonwealth-of-independent-states) public bodies. The case of the Vyapam scam in the field of [recruitment](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81630/central-government-s-national-recruitment-agency-step) and entrance examination also has a [Madhya Pradesh](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/86594/mohan-yadav-cm-of-madhya-pradesh-heroic-actions-against-butcher-house-and-loudspeakers) BJP government background. The party distanced itself from the attack, while several government officials and politicians were [connected](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12941/link-building-and-search-engine-rankings-how-are-they-connected) with the act. Of course, accusations do not always mean actual sin and guilt. Like all other political entities in the Indian political arena, the BJP has its dirty linen washed in public and scandals associated with it. Democracy is never an easy affair when it comes to governance, and thus the task is left to the courts to define the truth of the matter. Political claims should not be taken in empty and baseless assertions. This means that since the party itself is abusing the BJP, blind trust in any of the parties, including the BJP, necessarily extends misinformation.
