If you're having trouble with a [**projector**](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/105940/tips-to-get-finest-projectors-for-outdoor-events) that doesn't display any images, follow these steps to diagnose and fix the problem:

## Select the appropriate input source:

- Use the projector's [remote](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/85431/remote-employee-training-tips-tricks) [control](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/137/asp-dot-net-ajax-control-toolkit-calendarextender) or buttons on the device to select the appropriate input source (HDMI, VGA, etc.) compatible with the [connected](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/126/define-connected-and-disconnected-data-access-in-ado-dot-net) device.
- Verify that the source device is set to output to the projector.
- If necessary, reset the projector to its [factory](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/304231/factory-vs-service-in-angularjs-which-one-better) settings, which can usually correct setting issues.
