# How to delete Discord account on PC?

Just follow these steps:

1. Open [Discord](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/110656/how-to-delete-discord-messages-on-iphone-app) on [your PC](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51727/explain-ransomware-and-how-it-s-affect-your-pc-s) and log in to your [account](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/33699/how-tech-is-disrupting-the-accounting-world).
2. Click on the gear [icon](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13090/icon-the-identity-of-your-brand) ⚙️ in the bottom [left](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/2298/how-to-change-position-left-to-right-of-bootstrap-datepicker) corner to open User [Settings](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/99336/how-can-i-configure-gmail-imap-settings).
3. In the User Settings menu, scroll down and click on "My Account" from the left sidebar.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the My Account [section](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84187/why-i-have-really-enjoyed-posting-our-thoughts-on-yourviews-section-of-mindstick), you'll find the option "Delete Account." Click on it.
5. Discord will ask you to [confirm](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/115761/facebook-account-locked-with-confirm-your-identity-loop) the deletion. Follow the prompts, and make sure to read any important information they provide.
6. Once you confirm, [your account](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/115734/how-to-fix-your-account-has-been-temporarily-locked-on-instagram) will be scheduled for deletion. It may take some time for the [process](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83832/a-brief-about-machine-learning-life-cycle-process) to complete.
