## Basic Checks:

- **Restart:** Reboot your device. This re-initializes everything and might just solve the glitch.
- **Connection:** For wired keyboards, ensure it's firmly plugged in. Try different ports or a different [computer](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2637/the-keychron-q10-is-a-great-mainstream-alice-keyboard). For wireless, check batteries and connection strength.
- **Cleanliness:** Gently shake the keyboard upside down (off and unplugged!) to dislodge crumbs. Use compressed air and a soft cloth to clean between keys.

## Advanced Fixes:

- **On-screen Keyboard:** Most devices have an on-screen keyboard as a temporary backup. Look for it in your [accessibility](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/304975/why-image-alt-text-matters-for-seo-and-accessibility) settings.
- **[External Keyboard](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/108848/what-if-your-laptop-is-not-recognizing-an-external-keyboard):** Borrow a friend's keyboard to confirm if it's a hardware issue with your own.
- **Professional Help:** If none of the above works, it might be time to visit a technician or contact your device manufacturer for further assistance.
