Some notable developments include:\
COP26 Summit: The 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) took place in November 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland. \
Renewed Commitments: These pledges aim to align with the goals of the Paris Agreement.\
Global Transition to [Renewable](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2206/can-water-the-key-component-of-the-west-s-largest-renewable-energy-source-survive-drought) Energy: Many countries accelerated their transition to renewable energy sources.\
Methane Reduction Pledge: This commitment aims to address a potent greenhouse gas responsible for a significant portion of global warming.\
