# How can I troubleshoot connecting a smartphone to a TV through Youtube?

But, I cannot, so I tried using a different HDMI cable on the TV. I read another way in bloxd io that I can restart of both my smartphone and TV. This can help [refresh](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/12865/how-to-refresh-dropdownlist-but-keep-old-selected-value-json) the [system](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13144/benefits-of-a-small-business-phone-system) and eliminate [temporary](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/2292/how-to-set-temporary-path-of-jdk-in-windows) glitches or conflicts that might be interfering with the connection. I also tried but it didn't work. Help, plz.
