One would mention [Leonardo da Vinci](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100573/name-one-famous-painting-by-leonardo-da-vinci), Michelangelo, Raphael, William Shakespeare, and Galileo Galilei among others the renowned Renaissance masters. There were several reasons for the end of the Renaissance such as the Protestant Reformation, the thirty years’ War, and the emergence of scientific materialism.
