# How to check computer specs?

There are a few ways to check your computer specs:

- **Use the [Windows](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/166/windows-api) System Information tool. To do this, press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box, type "msinfo32", and press Enter. This will open the System Information tool. You can find your computer specs in the System Summary section.**
- **Use the Windows Settings app. To do this, open the Settings app and go to System > About. You can find your computer specs in the Device Specifications section.**
- **Use a third-party app. There are a number of third-party apps that can be used to check your computer specs, such as CPU-Z and Speccy. These apps typically provide more detailed information about your computer specs than the Windows System Information tool or the Windows Settings app.**

To check your computer specs use the Windows System Information tool:

1. **Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.**
2. **Type "msinfo32" and press Enter.**
3. **The System Information tool will open.**
4. **Find the System Summary section.**
5. **You can find your computer specs in the System Summary section.**

To check your computer specs use the Windows Settings app:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to System > About.
3. You can find your computer specs in the Device Specifications section.

To check your computer specs using a third-party app:
