**Check if your laptop has a touch screen.** Not all HP laptops have touch screens. To check if your laptop has a touch screen, look for the **Touch Screen** icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. **Make sure that the touch screen is enabled.** By default, the touch screen is enabled on HP laptops. However, if you have disabled it, you will need to enable it before you can use it. To enable the touch screen, follow these steps:

- Go to the **Start** menu and search for **Device Manager**.
- Open Device Manager.
