There are a number of factors that can be used to measure [development](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/359/iphone-development-introduction), including GDP per capita, life expectancy, [education levels, and infrastructure.](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81221/sports-will-change-the-education-scenario)

In terms of GDP per capita, China is not the most developed country in the world. In 2022, China's GDP per capita was $12,556, which is lower than the GDP per capita of many developed countries, such as the United States ($65,200), Japan ($42,800), and [Germany](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1893/bmw-test-car-veers-into-traffic-in-germany-lead-to-1-death-and-9-injured) ($45,600).

However, China has made significant progress in terms of life expectancy, education levels, and infrastructure. In 2022, China's life expectancy was 77.3 years, which is higher than the life expectancy of many developed countries. China's literacy rate is also very high, at 96.4%. And China has invested heavily in infrastructure, such as roads, railways, and airports.

So, is China the most developed country in the world? It depends on how you define development. If you define development in terms of GDP per capita, then China is not the most developed country in the world. However, if you define development in terms of life expectancy, education levels, and infrastructure, then China is making significant progress and could be considered a developed country in the future.
