But Menka Gandhi has stated that she might consider joining Congress if her husband does leave the BJP. The couple was married in October 2018, and Menka Gandhi has been working as a member of parliament for five years. However, the two may join forces again in Congress if Varun decides to leave the BJP. If Varun or Menka decide to join Congress, it would be a big step for the party and could help them gain more political power within their state and across India.
