The properties of Blockchain:

  • The first property is that it ensures immutability. That is, if you save data on the blockchain, you can rest assured that it will not be modified afterwards. When you want to trust anything or make something more trustworthy, this is critical. Because if you  developing an application and you want to modify data, you can do so because everything is under my control. This is not possible with blockchain.
  • The second intriguing feature of blockchain is that it is decentralised. This implies that no single entity is in charge. To serve as sites where all the data is stored in a decentralised manner, blockchain requires a collection of nodes. And these nodes collaborate to ensure that data has the correct provenance, which means that data has the correct timing.
  • The third aspect is that blockchains are automatically timestamped. This implies that it provides assistance in a decentralised manner. As a result, it aids in determining what data has changed when a record has been updated. Who kept it up to speed on such matters? These characteristics are what make blockchain so intriguing.
