  • In the iPad dock connector port, insert the SD Card Reader or USB Camera Connector.
  • To connect a camera or iPhone, use the USB cable that came with the device and plug it into the Camera Connector's USB port. Make certain that your iPhone is turned on. Make sure the camera is turned on and in transfer mode before connecting it.
  • iPad is locked.
  • The Photos application instantly launches and displays the photos that can be imported.
  • Choose the photographs you want to import.
  • Tap Import All to import all of the photographs.
  • Connect your iPad to your computer and import the images with a photo programme such as iPhoto or Adobe Elements.
  • Remove the card reader or camera connector from the system.
  • Although no iPad models have an SD or MicroSD card slot, external storage can be added to newer iPad and iPad Air devices using the Lightning port or wirelessly.
