- Data deleted from the iPad interface is no longer accessible, but it is not deleted from the iPad's storage. Erase iPad to wipe all of your content and settings from storage.
- From Settings, you can delete iPad. If you can't go into Settings, you can delete your iPad with a computer.
- Navigate to Settings > General > iPad Transfer or Reset.
- If you're wiping your iPad to make room for a new iPad you already own, you can use iCloud's extra free storage to transfer your apps and data to the new device. Return to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad after tapping Get Started and following the onscreen steps.
- Erase All Content and Settings is the last option.
