- To use Phone Hub to access your Android phone from your Chromebook, follow these steps:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen on your Android device and check that Bluetooth is turned on in the quick settings menu.
- Select the time in the lower-right corner of the screen on your Chromebook, then make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- In the taskbar, click the Phone icon.
- In the pop-up window, click Get Started.
- Make sure your phone is chosen under Device detected, then select Accept & continue.
- Enter the password for your Google account.
- Choose Done. Your Chromebook is now connected to your Android phone.
- To open the Phone Hub, click the Phone icon in the taskbar. Tap Settings if you don't see your phone's information (gear icon).
- Enable Phone Hub by selecting it. Other features such as Smart Lock, Instant Tethering, Notifications, and Messages can be enabled from here.
