• The CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) is a concept for guiding information security policy inside an organisation. To prevent confusion with the Central Intelligence Agency, the paradigm is often known as the AIC triad (availability, integrity, and confidentiality). Despite the fact that the CIA triad encompasses three of the most fundamental and critical cybersecurity requirements, experts say the triad need an upgrade to be effective.
