• Make sure you're logged in to the account for which a verified badge is being requested.
• To access your profile, tap profile or your profile image in the lower right corner.
• In the top right corner, hit more options, then settings.
• Tap Account, then Verification Request.
• Provide your full name and the appropriate form of identification (e.g. government-issued photo ID or official business documents).
• Follow the directions on the screen.
• Even if your account qualifies for verification, making a request does not ensure that it will be validated.
• Multiple verified badge requests do not guarantee account verification, and applying for a verified badge multiple times before obtaining a decision will result in your application being cancelled.
• You cannot modify your account's username once it has been verified, and verification cannot be transferred to another account.
• Your Facebook account will not be verified if you verify your Instagram account.
