  • In terms of camera quality, image consistency, and video quality, iPhones have traditionally received higher accolades than their Samsung counterparts. Samsung, on the other hand, dramatically improved its game with the S22 series, particularly the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
  • Another significant advantage of iPhones over Samsung phones is their durability. Although Samsung's flagships and mid-range phones now get four years of significant Android updates, iPhones can easily endure five to six years.
  • There is, however, one essential caveat. Because smartphone batteries are lithium-ion, they will eventually degrade over time. If you're considering buying an iPhone just for the longer OS support, keep in mind that the battery will suffer, and you'll likely need to replace it in three to four years.
