
- Your Ethernet ID/MAC address is your Machine ID. It is made up of six pairs of integers and the letters A through F. These pairs can be found together (d312a930bc7f), separated by colons (d3:12:a9:30:bc:7f), or separated by dashes (d3:12:a9:30:bc:7f) Please follow the instructions below to locate your Machine ID.
- Select your current network interface (e.g., Ethernet) from the list on the left of System Preferences > Network.
- Select 'Advanced, then 'Hardware.'
- Under 'MAC Address,' you'll find the Machine ID.
