Steps to record a slide show in PowerPoint:
- To give your presentation a professional and polished impression, record narration and timings.
- Open the slide on which you wish to begin recording.
- Select Record in the upper right corner of the PowerPoint window.
- You have two choices. Select the round, red Record button when you're ready, wait for the countdown, and then begin speaking. Go to the slide you want to record from, then select Record.
- Because narration isn't recorded while transitioning between slides, pause for a moment and then resume speaking.
- When you're through filming, save your presentation as a PowerPoint file or a video and share it with others.
- Choose a file.
- Select an option such as Save or Export.
