The basic functions of MS Word:

  • Home-Font colour, font size, font style, alignment, bullets, line spacing, and other variables are available in this MS Word function. Additionally, the Home option provides access to all of the essential features required to modify a document.
  • Insert-Tables, shapes, photos, charts, graphs, headers, footers, page numbers, and other elements can be included in the document. These MS Word features can be found under the 'Insert' category Design.
  • Design-Using MS Word's Features, you can build or select the template or design that you desire for your document under the Design Tab. Furthermore, selecting an appropriate tab will improve the appearance of your MS Word document.
  • Page Design-Margins, orientation, columns, lines, indentation, spacing, and other choices are available in MS Word's Page Layout tab.
  • References-For individuals who are writing a thesis, books, or long documents, this tab is the most beneficial function of MS Word. This tab has options such as citation, footnote, table of contents, caption, bibliography, and more.
