  • Taking a screenshot in Word is actually rather simple. To take a screenshot, go to the Insert tab and click the Screenshot button. You'll be greeted with a thumbnail image of each Window that is currently active. Simply click on one of the thumbnails to have it inserted into your current document.
  • It's never been easier to get a good screenshot of a specific Window.
  • Instead of clicking on a thumbnail, you can use the more accurate Screen Clipping option to capture a specific region on the screen.
  • Once you've chosen the region of the screen you want to record, it will be automatically added to your document.
