Steps to delete a break in column:
- Columns can improve readability, therefore various documents, such as newspaper stories, bulletins, and flyers, are frequently written in column format. You can also alter your columns by inserting column breaks in Word.
- To get rid of column breaks, do the following:
- Breaks are hidden by default. If you wish to see the breaks in your document, go to the Home tab and select the Show/Hide command.
- To eliminate a break, move the insertion point to the left of it.
- To erase the break, press the delete key.
