How would you configure your audio setting in Skype?
  • Choose a photo for your profile.
  • Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • If you have more than one microphone device attached, select Audio & Video Audio Microphone.
  • Automatically modify microphone settings - If you turn this on, the volume of your microphone will be automatically adjusted. When you turn this off, you can manually change the volume of your microphone.
  • Noise cancellation - For Skype calls, adjust the Noise cancellation setting.
  • The following are the alternatives available to you:
  • Auto (default) - The Skype programme adjusts the level of noise reduction in response to your surroundings.
  • Low - Low amounts of persistent background noise, such as a computer fan or air conditioner, will be muffled. However, if you want to share the music you're listening to, you can use this option.
  • If you have more than one speaker connected, choose a different one.
  • Select this option to test your current speaker volume.
  • Unmute for incoming calls - Toggle this On or Off to choose whether you want your incoming calls muted or unmuted.
