• There may be issues with particular documents if Word malfunctions or fails to respond exclusively with those documents. One solution is to repair the faulty documents before opening them in Word.
• On your computer, open Word. If normal mode doesn't work, go to safe mode.
• In the left sidebar, select the Open option.
• On the next screen, select Browse to search your computer for the faulty document.
• Navigate to the folder where your document is saved, pick it, and then choose Open and Repair from the arrow icon next to Open.
• Word will open and repair your document for you.
