The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee joined a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue the MoRTH Professorial Chair in Highway Infrastructure Development, which focuses on research and
innovation, trying to teach and mentoring. This
MoRTH-IIT-Roorkee cooperation will improve R&D efforts in the field of transportation, and the Chair professor is anticipated to give guidance in performing and directing research, development, and teaching in the domain of
Highway Infrastructure Development.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Roorkee is one of the most significant national universities for increasing
technological training, architecture, fundamental and applied study. Since its inception, the Institute has figured prominently in delivering technical talent and understanding to the nation, as well as in the conduct of research. The
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, is in charge of developing and maintaining
National Highways throughout the nation.
