• When you sign up for Telegram, you must grant the app permission to make and receive phone calls as well as provide the app with your phone number. Unfortunately, you must give up this information if you wish to join up for Telegram on your primary phone.
• On Telegram, however, there is a way to hide your phone number. To do so, take the following steps:
• Open Telegram and select Settings from the lower left-hand menu.
• Select Privacy & Security.
• Select Phone number.
• Tap either My Contacts (your contacts will see your phone number) or Nobody (no one will see your phone number) (no one will see your phone number)
• No one will be able to see your phone number through the app as a result of this. Keep in mind that your phone number will remain associated with your account.
