Outlook receives updates on a regular basis from Microsoft in order to improve its performance, add new features, and correct bugs. If the present error is caused by a bug that Microsoft has already addressed in its most recent updates, upgrading Outlook to the most recent version may be the solution.
- Select File from the File menu.
- Select the Office account option from the drop-down menu.
- Select Update Options from the drop-down menu.
- To update the software, click the Update Now button.
- Restart Outlook after the update and make sure it's working properly.
