At any given moment, Microsoft allows users to have up to 10 aliases on their accounts, and you can use any of them to operate in Outlook.com.
Although some of this can be modified, all of your Microsoft aliases share the same Outlook.com inbox, contact list, password, and account settings as your primary alias. To protect your information, you can disable the sign-in rights of an alias you give out to strangers. Other considerations:
- As an alias, you can't use an existing @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com address.
- An alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account can be used.
- You can alter an account's primary alias at any time.
