Run the Startup/Automatic Repair procedure.

You can utilize the recovery tools on your installation media, such as a DVD or USB, to rebuild your Windows installation if the BCD is missing. Then, take the following steps:

  1.  Restart your computer after inserting the Windows bootable installation DVD.
  2. When requested to select a key to boot from a CD or DVD, select any key to proceed.
  3. In the Windows Setup interface, select your language settings and then click Next.
  4.  In the bottom-left corner, select Repair your machine.
  5.  Select Troubleshoot from the Choose an option menu.
  6. Select Automatic Repair from the Advanced Settings screen.) Wait for Windows to finish its automatic repair.
