Steps to  internal microphone does not work in Windows 10:

• If your microphone isn't identified after upgrading to Windows 10, you may need to grant permission for your programmes to utilise it.
• Select Start, then Settings > Privacy > Microphone to grant apps access to the microphone. Allow applications to access your microphone by selecting Change and then Allow apps to access your microphone by selecting Allow apps to access your microphone
• You can pick which Microsoft Store apps can access these functionalities after allowing access to the microphone. Select which Microsoft Store apps have access to your microphone, and turn on the switch beneath Allow desktop apps to access your microphone if you want non-Microsoft Store apps to use it.
• Make sure the Mute button on your headset isn't turned on.
• Check to see if your microphone or headset is properly connected to your computer.
