Follow these steps:
  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Select Network & Internet from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Status.
  4. Change the network options by clicking the Change network Options button.
  5. Select Properties from the right-click menu of the network you want to prioritize.
  6. Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the drop-down menu.
  7. Select Properties from the drop-down menu.
  8. Click the Advanced button on the 'General' tab.
  9. Remove the option for automatic metric calculation.
  10. Give the adapter a priority value in the 'Interface metric' field.
  11. Then press the OK button.
  12. Re-press the OK button.
  13. Close the window with a click.
