Steps to add your Google account on your phone (Android):
- Open the Settings app on your phone.
- Go to Accounts and choose it. Tap Users & accounts if you don't see 'Accounts.'
- Tap Add account at the bottom.
- Select the account type you want to add.
- Tap Google to add your Google Account. When you sign in with a Google Account, your phone immediately syncs your email, contacts, calendar events, and other data from that account.
- Tap Personal (IMAP) or Personal (POP3) to create a new personal account (POP3). If you use an email application like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, you'd probably go with them. Learn how to utilise Gmail with IMAP or POP3.
- Follow the directions on the screen.
- For further security, you may need to enter your phone's pattern, PIN, or password while adding accounts.
