Why are Gmail and random apps not responding in Android?

  • It is due to Storage problem and bugs etc to fix it follow the steps:
  • Press and hold the Power button on most phones for roughly 30 seconds or until the phone restarts.
  • It's possible that you'll need to tap Restart
  • Open the Settings app on your phone.
  • Tap System, then Advanced, and then System update near the bottom.
  • You may need to tap About phone or About tablet, then Software update, depending on your phone.
  • You'll be able to see your current update status. Any steps on the screen should be followed.
  • You can usually erase an app's cache and data via the Settings app on your phone. Each phone has its own set of options.
  • When you clear cached data, you temporarily free up space. This is only a temporary solution. Cached data will accumulate again over time.
